       Quality – Material Testing Facility


Tower Asphalt, Inc. has a testing laboratory that is over 1,000 square feet in size. It is equipped with the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art testing equipment. Our facility is staffed with individuals trained and certified for testing within the states of MN and WI. We maintain annual certifications for MN and WI in our laboratory facility.


Below are some of the capabilities of the Materials Testing Facility :

  • Testing of aggregates for mix design and qualities
  • Liquid asphalt testing for specialty products
  • Hot mix asphalt mix designs for MNDOT, WIDOT and FAA projects
  • Hot mix asphalt testing for MNDOT, WIDOT, FAA, County and Municipal projects
  • Soils testing
  • Nuclear testing in the field as well as other related field testing
